Master airport operations, check-in, customer service, ramp services and ground handling — the fastest path into the aviation industry. Practical training + direct campus drives = quick employment.
The Airport Ground Staff & Management program at CrewReve is a 6-month practical course designed by ex-airport managers, customer service heads, and ground handling supervisors. Unlike cabin crew jobs which need height and medical fitness, ground staff roles are open to a wider profile — making this the easiest, fastest entry into aviation.
You'll learn everything that happens at an airport — check-in counters, baggage handling, boarding, ramp operations, customer service, and reservation systems like Amadeus, Galileo, and SITA. By month 6, you'll be job-ready with hands-on simulations, real software exposure, and direct interview opportunities with airlines and ground handlers.
Every module is built around what airport employers — airlines, ground handlers, BPO units — actually test in interviews and need on the job.
By the end of 6 months, you'll have the practical skills airports look for in every ground staff role.
Operate Amadeus, Galileo, and SITA — the reservation software used at every airline counter.
Process passengers, issue boarding passes, handle baggage, and manage exceptions with speed.
Communicate professionally, handle complaints, and turn frustrated passengers into happy ones.
Manage baggage tagging, sorting, oversized items, and lost-and-found procedures.
Identify dangerous goods, follow BCAS screening protocols, and respond to security incidents.
Coordinate aircraft turnaround, marshalling, pushback, and tarmac safety procedures.
Make clear, professional gate & boarding announcements with the right tone.
Crack airline & ground handling interviews — written, GD, personal — with rehearsed mastery.
Airport ground staff roles are open to a wider profile than cabin crew — height & strict medical aren't required.

Real reviews from students who completed this exact program at CrewReve.
"Joined the 6-month Ground Staff program with basic computer skills and weak English. The Amadeus & SITA training gave me a real edge — that's exactly what SpiceJet asked about in the interview. Got placed within 30 days of completion."
"I didn't qualify for cabin crew due to height but ground staff was perfect for me. CrewReve's airport simulation lab made me feel like I was already at work. IndiGo hired me from a campus drive in month 6. Couldn't be happier."
"The ramp operations module was super hands-on. We did marshalling drills, baggage handling practice, and tarmac safety scenarios. Air India recruited me for ramp operations at Delhi airport. Salary is great with shift allowances."
"Customer service module was a game changer. They taught us how to handle angry passengers, manage delays, and deliver service even under pressure. AirAsia loved that I had real GDS experience and offered me a CSR role on the spot."
"Got placed at the premium lounge of Mumbai airport through Bird Group. The hospitality bits in the customer service module helped me bag this role over cabin crew applicants. Free uniforms, meals, and a 5-day work week — love it!"
"From a non-aviation background, I was nervous I wouldn't fit in. The trainers patiently took me through every system, every procedure. By month 4, I was confident in front of any system. Akasa picked me up for boarding gate operations at BLR."
No. Unlike cabin crew, airport ground staff roles do not have strict height requirements. As long as you can stand for long shifts and have good grooming & presentation, you're eligible. This makes ground staff a great option for those who don't qualify for cabin crew due to height.
Yes. Most of our students start with basic English. The course includes daily spoken English & communication classes. By month 3-4, you'll handle passenger interactions confidently. We also provide pronunciation drills and customer-service-style scripts to practice with.
Cabin crew works on flights — service, safety, and customer care during flying. Ground staff works at the airport — check-in, boarding, baggage, customer help. Ground staff has more flexible eligibility (no strict height), faster joining, fixed location (you don't travel), but cabin crew has higher salary potential. Both are great careers — depends on your preference.
Yes — Module 3 is dedicated to GDS systems training. You'll get hands-on practice with Amadeus, Galileo and SITA — the same systems used at every airline counter in India. By the end of this module, you'll be able to create PNRs, modify bookings, issue tickets, and process check-ins independently.
Ground staff hiring is the fastest in aviation — typically within 15-30 days post completion. Airlines and ground handling companies (like Bird Group, Celebi, AISATS) hire continuously throughout the year. Our placement team starts campus drives from month 5 onwards so most students have offers before they even finish.
